Garlic & Chili Spaghetti

I found this recipe on Pinterest. Here is the original post. I made just one modification.

This dish serves two very hungry people or makes four normal sized portions (if you are serving four people, double the chicken).

Spaghetti
7oz spaghetti
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 to 1/3 cup olive oil
3/4 tsp salt (freshly ground sea salt or kosher salt works best)
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Chicken
1 large chicken breast half
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp chili pepper flakes
dash of freshly ground sea salt
dash of freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil

  1. Boil water, then dump in the spaghetti to cook.
  2. Heat oil for chicken.
  3. Slice chicken breasts into 1/4 slices. You could chunk them up more if you prefer.
  4. Toss chicken in chicken spices.
  5. Sauté spiced chicken while spaghetti continues to cook.
  6. When spaghetti is finished, drain and dump into skillet with chicken.
  7. Add spaghetti spices and oil.
  8. Toss and serve warm.
